grenoble2The Grenoble-Isère Airport (GNB) is the international airport for Grenoble and the Isère department. Located in the small town Saint-Étienne-de-Saint-Geoirs, 40 km north-west of Grenoble, it was previously known as Grenoble-Saint-Geoirs Airport.

With 337,603 travelers in 2013, Grenoble-Isère airport ranks in 35th place nationally. It is currently owned by VINCI Airports, a subsidiary of the Vinci company.
Grenoble-Isere Airport serves the city of Grenoble, and the ski resort of the Oisans, such as Alpe d’Huez and Les Deux Alpes, but also small family resorts like St Pierre de Chartreuse and Villard de Lans.
