Val d’Isere is situated at the source of the Isere, deep in the Tarentaise Valley in Savoie. Nestled between the Italian border and the Vanoise National Park, the resort offers over 300 km of pistes in the heart of the Espace Killy.
The combination of Tignes and Val d’Isere offers excellent snow conditions throughout the ski season. The exceptional off-piste ski area includes the Grande Motte Glacier at 3656 m.
The village, located at 1850 meters, built in a traditional style consists mainly of wooden chalets and many hotels. The après ski scene and nightlife are very lively.
